The five major professional sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and NASCAR) and their commissioners always tell their fans that 'all is well' even when that isn't the truth. All professional sports are rigged in some form or fashion. And it is OK because the athletes are contracted as entertainers. My facts go back to 9-11 when everyone became Patriotic and who won the SB that season. Or more recently when the Black Panthers and the NFL celebrated their 50th anniversaries the same year.

It just doesn’t ring true for me with football too many people on a team to control it. The more I think about it, even if there are a few people in in the fix in any sport..are they able to make it so their teammates can’t win though they are still putting in an effort to win?
